We are committed to constructing a socialist Cymru rooted in class struggle, ecological survival, internationalist solidarity, and national self-determination. We reject capitalism’s drive for profit, war, and environmental destruction, and aim to replace it with democratic control over production, resources, and decision-making.

In the short term, we are focussing on the Senedd 2026 elections; to intervene through either standing candidates or supporting other candidates through agreement.

This pledge is part of our pre-launch phase — building the political foundations for a future democratic movement capable of uniting the working class of Cymru around a clear, transformative programme.

Our Structure

From Network to Organisation

Until the Autumn 2025 Launch Conference, a temporary Cyngor (Council) of volunteers will coordinate our activity. This Cyngor will:

• Facilitate open debate, regular reporting, and democratic involvement.
• Support the development of branches and policy working groups.
• Prepare a constitution and programme for adoption by the founding conference.

This is not the end goal—it is the transitional scaffolding toward a democratic and politically coherent organisation rooted in the working class.

We will be organising members into 16 ‘Canghennau’ (branches) based on the 2026 Senedd constituencies – see below.
